http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/dawns_stampin_studio/2009/04/faux-quilt-card-.html
Dawn has a very neat faux quilt card. Here's one I made last month.
Challenge #2: "Sista, challenge a sista" Challenge
This challenge will be unique as well as....challenging! LOL. Each person will challenge the next person to have a certain technique in her card/LO. For instance, I will challenge someone to use inks in her card. That person will challenge the next person to use the Cuttlebug, who will in turn challenge the next person to use a certain cart, etc....
If interested, please submit your name to our gmail acct NLT 9 Oct. I will contact you soon after.
Challenge #3: Book Of Me
This challenge comes courtesy of Valerie Hoyle, a member on the cricut website. the instructions are posted here. Though she will be posting a new challenge every Sunday, you can pick any one (or two, or three) to work on for this blog.
Challenge #4: Halloween/Fall Layout
Whether spooky or silly, capture the memory of your child's costume with a cute and clever scrapbook page idea. Or scrap your favorite things about autumn. Use this sketch for your layout (courtesy of Crafts by Rowena)

Hello all and thanks for all your submissions to our first challenge. The creations were great and unique. Here are the challenges for September. Since we did layouts our first month, we decided to dedicate this month to our card lovers.
This first challenge is a tri-fold card suggested by our friend, Nubian Crafter:

Hello and welcome to our very first challenge! We decided to start simple - a quick one and two page layout using the provided sketches. We pulled these sketches from Scrapbooks etc. Use your imagination and the only criteria is that you must use the Cricut somewhere on your layouts - easy peasy! This challenge will be posted until August 30th. We'll post your creations the following week.
Both sketches have examples to help you get started

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment.......Tell us what you think!
